The team at Inspiring Communities are committed to helping local communities become leaders of local change with the knowledge that greater accessibility plays an integral part. The team at Inspiring communities aim to provide wherever possible downloadable information in accessible formats.

      • Inspiring Communities 'What we are learning' handbook is a reflection on community-led development in New Zealand. It's important to note that due to the small text size it may be hard to read for those who have a vision impairment. All publications from March 2013 will be available in an accessible format on request.
      • For any face to face meetings, the team at Inspiring communities are happy to arrange a venue that is suitable and accessible for you. Where possible, they can also arrange for a sign language interpreter if needed.
  • Getting around within the site:

      • The team at Inspiring Communities are very supportive and willing to assist all people. While they haven't had any formal training in accessibility, members of the team have had lots of experience communicating with access customers. Communication generally takes place over the phone, email and post, and when a face to face meeting is required, the team are happy to meet you at the place most convenient and accessible for you. Inspiring Communities are passionate about hosting their events and forums at accessible venues.
      • There are staff available to help with any access enquiries.
      • All support animals are welcomed on premises (e.g. guide, hearing or mobility dogs etc).
