#11 Be. Celebrates Sir Richard Taylor: NZer of the Year

Be. would like to celebrate the achievements of Sir Richard Taylor - New Zealander of the Year 2012.

Sir Richard has become a role model for access citizens living with an impairment by inspiring us that we are all capable of greatness if we work with out strengths.

Known most commonly as the co-founder of Weta Workshops, Sir Richard is a creative genius who has put New Zealand in the spotlight in the world of special effects. Like many young people with dyslexia, Sir Richard had to recognize from a young age that his strengths lay in creative and practical skills, rather than written work.

We celebrate Sir Richard's award, and are extremely inspired by his optimism in turning his unique learning abilities into incredible greatness and Be.ing the Change!
