#37 Attitude Awards 2012

Nominations for the 2012 Attitude Awards close this FRIDAY 17 AUGUST so get in quick and nominate someone for these prestigious awards!

There are 7 main categories of awards, as well as the ACC Supreme Award which will be selected from one of the 7 category winners. The categories are:

  1. Attitude Sport Performer of the Year: The highest achiever in sport for 2012.
  2. Attitude Courage in Sport: A person with a disability who is striving to lead an active sporting life.
  3. Attitude Artistic Achievement: A disabled individual who has made a difference through their creativity. Open to people passionate about theatre, literature, dance, music, comedy, photography, film, painting, sculpture but not limited to - the list is endless.
  4. Attitude Youth Award: A youth (15 to 25 years of age) who has made a significant contribution to improving society.
  5. Spirit of Attitude Award: A person who has overcome hardship to achieve their personal goals. Someone who epitomises the positive spirit we seek to promote through the Attitude television series.
  6. Attitude ACC Employer Award: An employer who is a role model in providing outstanding recruitment and retention opportunities for people with disabilities. They have demonstrated excellence in making disability equality integral to their business.
  7. Attitude Making a Difference Award: An individual with or without a disability who has made a significant contribution to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
