Remarkable achievements recognised at the New Zealander of the Year Awards

27th February 2017

Minnie being recognised on the big screen at the New Zealander of the Year AwardsLast week we dressed in our finery and headed to the Langham to celebrate Minnie's place as a semi-finalist for the 2017 Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Award! We had a brilliant time, and are delighted that so many of Be.'s friends, partners, and supporters could join us.
It was lovely to spend the evening with our gorgeous Fab 50 members Red Nicholson, Tara Pradhan, and Sarah Trotman; Be. board members Ant Howard, Mary-Jane Rivers, and Ross Brereton; and our chair John Allen. We cheered as Minnie received her award from awards patron the Rt. Hon. James B Bolger, danced to Jon Toogood, and listened, awestruck, to the achievements of some absolutely remarkable New Zealanders.
We'd love to offer our congratulations to the 2017 New Zealander of the Year, Taika Waititi; to finalists Major Campbell Roberts and Associate Professor Mere Berryman; and to all the other semi-finalists. What an extraordinary group you are! It was an honour to see Be.'s work recognised alongside your own.
